The Rescue
The Book
A forgotten school assignment unexpectedly leads Jack and Melody King to discover a remarkable book—the Bible. As curiosity spreads through the King family, they begin investigating what makes the Bible unique and whether its claims can be trusted. The Book introduces the importance of asking questions, examining evidence and practising discernment.
Jack King is a talented sportsman, but his enthusiasm for schoolwork is another matter. When his teacher and coach, Mr Adams, raises concerns about Jack's lack of application and discernment, a forgotten book report sends Jack, Melody and their mum to the library.
There, librarian Mrs Jones mentions a mysterious book she simply calls “The Book.” She describes it as history, adventure, instruction and prophecy all in one—and says it contains answers to some of life's most important questions.
Melody's curiosity is sparked, and even Jack becomes interested in solving the mystery.
Returning to the library, they discover that “The Book” is the Bible: a collection of 66 books written across approximately 1,500 years.
Their discovery also awakens memories for Sally, who finds the Bible her grandmother once read to her, while Tony begins investigating whether the Bible can actually be trusted.
What begins as a simple book report launches the King family on an investigation that could change everything.
